Pets Guide

The Pet System is Magic Loot’s first companion feature, shipped alongside the Dragon Hunt Event on approximately August 21, 2026. Players can now collect and equip pets that provide stat bonuses while training, battling bosses, and farming dungeons. This page covers what is confirmed, what is still unpublished, and how the pet menu works as of the launch week.

What the Pet System is

Pets are companion units that attach to your wizard and provide passive stat bonuses. Unlike Wands and Armor, which add flat Power or multipliers directly, pet bonuses appear as supplementary buffs—some boost training speed, others add luck bonuses or movement QoL. The system is new and the exact bonus categories have not been published in community tables yet.

The PETPARTY code shipped at launch to celebrate the pet system’s arrival. Three new codes dropped with the update: DRAGONROAR, PETPARTY, and TRAININGFIX.

How to access the Pet menu

Open the pet interface from the left-menu or HUD panel after the August 21 update. The menu shows your equipped pet, any stored pets, and live stat tooltips for each companion. If the menu is missing, verify the experience has updated to the Dragon Hunt build by checking the Roblox place description.

Pet rarities

Community sources and the launch event context suggest multiple rarity tiers exist, but exact rarity names, color frames, and stat ranges have not been published in verified tables as of August 22, 2026. The in-game tooltip is the only reliable source for your specific pet’s stats.

How pets are obtained

The exact obtainment method—hatching from eggs, purchasing from a shop, or receiving as event drops—has not been confirmed in verified sources. Based on patterns from prior events (Dino Event and Light vs Dark each added limited shop items), a shop or event reward path is expected. Check the in-game pet menu and the Dragon Hunt Event shop for live prompts.

Pets and rebirth

Whether pet bonuses persist through Rebirth is not yet confirmed. Wands and Armor are verified to survive Rebirth; check your inventory after a reset to confirm pet behavior. If pet bonuses reset with avatar Power, they function as a temporary boost to be re-earned or re-purchased after each Rebirth.

Pets versus existing gear

Pets supplement rather than replace the Wand and Armor ladder:

  • Wands add flat Power that survives Rebirth—pets provide companion buffs that may or may not persist.
  • Armor adds Power multipliers—pet bonuses stack additively or multiplicatively depending on the tooltip label.
  • Brooms affect movement and event QoL—separate from pet stat systems.

Do not sell documented Wands or Armor to chase pet upgrades until pet persistence is confirmed in-game.

Dragon Hunt Event context

The Dragon Hunt Event is the third Beta event, running from approximately August 21, 2026. The pet system launched as the headline feature alongside new event-limited gear. A Mysterious Event is expected next on August 28, 2026 at 7:00 AM (announced in-game). See Dragon Hunt Event for the full event breakdown.

  • Dragon Hunt Event — Current event, pet system launch, and the Mysterious Event teaser.
  • Codes — Redeem DRAGONROAR, PETPARTY, TRAININGFIX, UPD2, admin abuse1, and RE-9284-1000.
  • Wands — Flat Power that survives Rebirth; pets are separate from this ladder.
  • Armor — Power multipliers that stack with wands and likely with pets.
  • Brooms — Movement and event cards; separate from pet stat systems.
  • Farm Coins — How to fund pet upgrades or event shop items once confirmed.

Beta honesty

The pet system is brand new as of August 21, 2026. Exact pet types, rarity tiers, stat values, obtainment methods, and rebirth behavior have not been published in verified community tables. This page records what is confirmed (the system exists, the PETPARTY code, the Dragon Hunt launch context) and flags what is unconfirmed so you do not mistake rumor for in-game truth. Check live tooltips and official Discord announcements before spending Coins or Robux on pets.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers drawn from the Magic Loot loop.

When did the Pet System launch in Magic Loot?

The Pet System shipped on approximately August 21, 2026 alongside the Dragon Hunt Event. The game title switched to 'Magic Loot[🐉DRAGON HUNT EVENT]' and three new codes—DRAGONROAR, PETPARTY, TRAININGFIX—dropped with the update.

How do I get a pet in Magic Loot?

The exact obtainment method (egg hatching, shop purchase, or event drop) had not been published in verified sources as of August 22, 2026. Open the in-game pet menu and check the Dragon Hunt Event shop for live prompts.

Do pet stat bonuses survive Rebirth?

Not yet confirmed. Wands and Armor are verified to survive Rebirth. Check your inventory after a reset to see whether pet bonuses persist or reset with avatar Power.

What is the PETPARTY code for?

The PETPARTY code celebrated the pet system launch. Redeem it in Settings alongside DRAGONROAR and TRAININGFIX for free rewards—see the Codes hub for the full six-code list.

Not until pet persistence is confirmed. Wands (+flat Power) and Armor (×multipliers) are verified to survive Rebirth and form the backbone of dungeon progression. Pets are a supplement—verify rebirth behavior before prioritizing them over the documented gear ladder.
